broken down, and burned out

Well, as I mentioned in the previous post, Lebanon was expecting a snow storm...and man did we get one, the weather guy said that it snowed almost one inch per hour!
the best part is that we were all just leaving school when the storm began, and as i was turning to take a friend home, my car broke down...I wanted to scream, well not really...I had really been expecting that to happen, so what ever. But the snow storm had only just begun when I called tripple A, an it wasnt a very long wait...I was one of the lucky ones that knight i figure. The tow truck came, and i got to ride in it and every thing, so it was pretty cool, only not. the next day, it had snowed so much that school was canceled, so i didn't have to ride the school bus, and i hate to ride the bus so it all worked out...thank you God, mother nature, both of you. I was so happy that school was canceled that i forgot about my car, that is until i got the call on saturday saying that it was ready.
A few more things were wrong with it than we origionally thought; My strut was broken(whatever that is)...My spring had snaped, and my entire A-frame dropped ( i really have no idea what any of this stuff is but to say it makes me feel all "mechanical" so i like it) it cost us $499.60, I almost died, and now i owe all of that to my mom.
but i love her, and cart my little brother around everywhere so things even out.
